About Me
Johannah Hornak, MS, LPES
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to supporting the emotional, behavioral, and educational well-being of children and adolescents. With years of experience working with families in the Fort Mill, SC area, I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to every client relationship.
As a Certified Family Court Mediator, I specialize in helping children and families navigate the challenges of separation and divorce. My goal is to reduce the emotional impact of these transitions while keeping the children's welfare at the center of every decision.
I hold a Master of Science degree and am licensed as a Professional Educator and School Counselor (LPES, License #4574). I collaborate closely with parents, educators, and community professionals to create strong, consistent support systems for the children I serve.

My Approach
I believe every child is unique, and effective therapy must honor those individual differences. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic approaches, play therapy, and behavior modification techniques — selecting the methods best suited to each child's needs and circumstances.
Parental involvement is a cornerstone of my practice. I maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing regular progress updates within the bounds of confidentiality, and working together to build lasting tools and skills that extend beyond the therapy room.
