"Every child is a different kind of flower and all together they make this world a beautiful garden".           Author Unknown

I obtained my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Queens College of The City University of New York continuing there to complete my Masters and a Specialist Degree in School Psychology.

I worked for many years in the public school setting with multi-ethnic students ranging from Pre-K-12th grade. For several years I worked in a city wide program for emotionally challenged children who had difficulty functioning in a traditional school setting. I addressed social/emotional/behavioral, learning barriers, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorder, special needs, substance/sexual abuse, neglect and foster care/adoption issues. My responsibilities in the school system included: conducting comprehensive Psycho-Educational assessments, counseling, behavior modification planning and teacher/parent consultation. I developed Individual Education Plans (IEP) that guaranteed special education services.

For many years I have been a licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist and for several years a Certified Family Court Mediator in private practice providing counseling for children, adolescents and families dealing with the myriad of conflicts surrounding separation and divorce.
